Mr. Nourse is a founding
partner of the firm. An admiralty and maritime practitioner with more than 36
years of experience in the field, his practice focuses on the resolution of disputes
arising under maritime contracts, with emphasis upon charter parties, bills of
lading and contracts of affreightment. He acts frequently on behalf of clients
in arbitrating or litigating both maritime and commodity claims and as an arbitrator
in deciding such claims. He also advises clients concerning compliance with U.S.
