Shaun F. Carroll

Mr. Carroll has developed a reputation as a resourceful and effective litigator and counselor in shipping, insurance and commercial disputes. Since 1980, he has successfully represented shipowners, charterers, oil trading businesses and marine underwriters in federal and state trial and appellate courts in New York, as well as in arbitration and mediation. Experienced in accident response, he has conducted investigations and handled on-site response for many major casualties such as ship fires, oil spills and container loss due to storm damage.

Mr. Carroll has developed particular expertise in pre and post judgment attachment procedures in State and Federal Courts.

Mr. Carroll is actively involved in the Admiralty Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and the Maritime Law Association of the United States.
